Non Recyclable Waste
How do I use the non recyclable waste collection?
- Write the name or number of your property on your bin
- Put your non recyclable waste into your green wheeled bin
- Make sure the bin is not overfilled and the lid is fully closed
- Remember to only present waste contained within the bin
- Present your bin at the kerbside, with the handles facing the road, by 07:00 on the day of collection

- Packets & wrappers
- Polystyrene
- Crockery & drinking glasses
- Tissues, napkins & paper towels
- Wrapping paper
- Compostable packaging
- Bagged nappies & hygiene waste
- Bagged animal faeces & bedding
- Small broken toys, plant pots & unusable textiles
- Food waste
- Items that can be recycled at the kerbside
- Masonry, rubble, soil & turf, bricks, paint, gas cylinders or car batteries
- Hazardous waste like corrosive chemicals or syringe needles
- Unbagged animal waste or unbagged hygine waste (these should be double bagged before being put in your bin)
