How do I use the non recyclable waste collection?

  • Write the name or number of your property on your bin
  • Put your non recyclable waste into your green wheeled bin
  • Make sure the bin is not overfilled and the lid is fully closed
  • Remember to only present waste contained within the bin
  • Present your bin at the kerbside, with the handles facing the road, by 07:00 on the day of collection

  • Small broken toys, plant pots & unusable textiles

  • Food waste
  • Items that can be recycled at the kerbside
  • Masonry, rubble, soil & turf, bricks, paint, gas cylinders or car batteries
  • Hazardous waste like corrosive chemicals or syringe needles
  • Unbagged animal waste or unbagged hygine waste (these should be double bagged before being put in your bin)
